Labours ETP

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work areas, including tanks, filter beds, and surrounding grounds.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving materials, equipment, and sludge.
• Assist with routine inspections, minor repairs, and maintenance of plant equipment such as pumps, valves, and filters, often using basic hand and power tools.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste materials and bio-solids, sometimes operating equipment like a filter press.
• Help collect water/effluent samples for testing and analysis to ensure compliance with quality standards, though the testing itself is typically done by operators or lab personnel.
• Follow all safety protocols, guidelines, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment and compliant operations.
• Provide general support to ETP operators and other plant staff as needed, which may include general labor tasks outside the ETP facility (e.g., on a farm or construction site).
• Maintain basic logs and records of work performed and report any irregularities or issues to supervisors.
