Job Overview
The Land Surveyor will provide precise surveying services to support the construction of a high-rise building. The role involves site measurement, data collection, coordination with engineering and construction teams, and ensuring all works comply with UAE regulations and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct topographic, boundary, and layout surveys for the high-rise project.
- Establish and maintain control points, benchmarks, and reference markers on-site.
- Set out foundations, structural grids, core walls, columns, and other key building elements with millimeter accuracy.
- Use total stations, GPS/GNSS, digital levels, and other modern surveying instruments.
- Verify dimensions and elevations during excavation, piling, shoring, and superstructure works.
- Prepare survey reports, CAD drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, and site engineers.
- Monitor structural alignment, verticality, and settlement as the building progresses.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, RTA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain calibration records and proper care of survey equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related field.
- Minimum 4–8 years of experience, including high-rise or major construction projects.
- Proficiency with surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS, Auto Levels), CAD software, and data processing tools.
- Strong understanding of UAE construction codes, surveying standards, and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under tight schedules in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Previous experience in Dubai or GCC region.
- UAE driving license.
- Knowledge of BIM coordination or 3D surveying is a plus.
