1. Key Responsibilities1. Surveying & Site Measurements
- Conduct topographic, boundary, and setting-out surveys using Total Station, GPS, and Auto Level instruments.
2. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, and Consultants for setting-out requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to site teams on survey data and layout accuracy.
- Support QA/QC teams during inspections and project handover documentation.
3. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of all survey data, field notes, and drawings.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly survey reports to the Project Manager.
- Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related software to process survey data and prepare drawings.
4. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all surveying activities comply with project specifications, local municipality standards, and EHS regulations.
- Adhere to site safety procedures and actively participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
- Immediately report any discrepancies, obstructions, or unsafe conditions to the management.
- Establish horizontal and vertical control points for site works.
- Prepare as-built and layout drawings as required for project documentation.
- Verify dimensions, levels, and elevations to ensure alignment with approved design drawings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the UAE construction industry (infrastructure/building projects preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and AutoCAD software.
- Familiarity with Dubai Municipality standards and project documentation.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
