Landscape Foreman

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced (3-5 years) motivated Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This full-time role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in landscape maintenance, and a passion for horticulture. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure quality standards, and coordinate projects from start to finish. A background in landscaping, lawn care and tree care is essential to successfully manage diverse landscaping tasks and supervise team members effectively.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
  • Oversee landscape maintenance activities including pruning, planting, and fertilizing
  • Perform or direct lawn care tasks such as aeration, seeding, and fertilization
  • Lead construction projects related to landscape design, hardscaping (focus on natural stone and boulders), and installations
  • Oversee tree care operations including pruning and health assessments
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Provide training and mentorship to crew members on horticultural techniques and equipment use
  • Communicate with clients regarding project progress and landscape recommendations

Skills

  • Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping installation, lawn care, tree care, horticulture, and general maintenance
  • Supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of plant health, soil management, pest control, and sustainable practices in horticulture
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in project planning and execution
  • Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
  • Snow plowing and maintaining sidewalks.
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members
  • Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license required for transportation of equipment or materials
  • Ability to pass DOT physical
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
  • Pass a background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
