Landscape Supervisor

we are hiring a Landscaping Supervisor who is responsible to oversee daily landscaping operations by managing a team, ensuring work meets quality and safety standards, maintaining equipment, and communicating with clients. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling tasks, guiding field staff, managing resources like labor and materials, and keeping accurate records of projects and budgets. A strong knowledge of plants, irrigation systems, and relevant safety and environmental regulations is also crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities

• Team Management:Supervise, train, and mentor landscaping crews, ensuring they follow safety guidelines and project plans.
• Project Oversight:Monitor daily landscaping activities, ensuring that client requirements are met and project goals are achieved within budget and timeframe.
• Resource Management:Coordinate the procurement and use of labor, equipment, and materials to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Technical Expertise:Maintain knowledge of plants, soil conditions, and irrigation systems, and provide guidance on plant health and pest control.
• Planning & Scheduling:Develop and implement work plans, schedule tasks, and ensure adequate staffing for daily activities.
• Client Communication:Serve as the main point of contact between the client and the field team, ensuring alignment on project goals and resolving issues.
• Record Keeping:Track project progress, expenses, and daily tasks, documenting completed work through photos and notes for reporting.

Essential Skills & Knowledge

• Plant & Irrigation Knowledge: A strong understanding of different plant types, their care needs, and the maintenance and repair of irrigation systems.
• Technical Reading: Ability to read and interpret landscape drawings, plans, and blueprints.
• Leadership: Ability to motivate, guide, and support a team of field workers.
• Problem-Solving: Capacity to identify and resolve issues that arise on-site.
• Communication: Clear oral and written communication skills for coordinating with the team and clients.
• Safety & Environmental Awareness: Knowledge of relevant safety protocols and environmental regulations.
