Landscape Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and installing components to ensure optimal watering schedules
• Execute tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote safety and aesthetic appeal
• Assist with hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction elements
• Conduct lawn care routines like fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to sustain lush turf conditions
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways in all weather conditions

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping equipment and hand tools
• Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening practices
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, tree care techniques, and hardscape construction is preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design concepts is a plus
• Experience with snow plowing or winter maintenance activities is advantageous
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with the motivation to learn new techniques and grow within the industry
