LASER CUTTING MACHINE OPERATOR

The Laser Cutting Machine Operator is responsible for independently operating a 12kW Bodor CNC fiber laser cutting machine, preparing and modifying basic AutoCAD drawings, and executing production jobs from start to finish with minimal supervision. The role includes material handling using forklift, machine setup, cutting operations, and quality inspection of finished parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate 12kW Bodor CNC fiber laser cutting machine safely and efficiently
• Independently execute laser cutting jobs from drawings to finished components
• Create and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings for production requirements
• Prepare job files and load them into machine software for cutting execution
• Perform basic nesting and optimize material usage to reduce scrap
• Position sheets accurately on machine bed for cutting operations
• Set and adjust cutting parameters based on material type and thickness
• Inspect cut parts for dimensional accuracy, edge quality, and defects
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of the machine
• Identify and report machine faults or cutting issues promptly
• Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and workshop discipline
• Work independently with minimal supervision and ensure timely job completion

Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
