Duties

• Mow lawns using various power tools and hand tools to ensure a clean, even cut that promotes healthy grass growth
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, trimming, pruning, and shrubbery care to maintain aesthetic appeal
• Operate equipment such as excavators, snow plows, and other machinery safely and efficiently for site preparation and seasonal tasks
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to support tree vitality
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and water conservation practices
• Execute hardscape projects like installing pathways, patios, or retaining walls using appropriate tools and techniques
• Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Experience

• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators is highly desirable
• Familiarity with horticulture principles, tree trimming techniques, irrigation systems, and snow plowing operations will be advantageous
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, gardening, hardscape installation, and tree care
• Basic knowledge of construction or hardscape projects is a plus but not mandatory
• Excellent physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
