Lawn Care Technician

EnJay Property Maintenance, a locally-owned lawn care and snow removal business based in Lakeville, is seeking reliable and hard-working Lawn Care Technicians to join our team. Serving commercial clients, we offer competitive pay based on your experience. While prior experience is a plus, we value a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, and we’re ready to provide training. This is a year-round position, with lawn care in the warmer months and snow removal during the winter season.

As a Lawn Care Technician, your days will be filled with various tasks, including:

• Operating zero-turn and walk-behind lawnmowers for that perfect cut.
• Tackling weeds and stray grass with some weed whipping/pulling.
• Edging walkways to give them that neat finish.
• Giving shrubs a nice trim to keep them in shape.
• Using a backpack blower to clear leaves and debris.
• Helping with Fall and Spring Clean-ups to keep everything tidy.
• Other duties, as needed

When the snow begins to fall, our Snow Removal duties kick in, where you'll get hands-on with equipment like:

• Pickups equipped with plows or salters to clear the way.
• Snowblowers to power through layers of snow.
• Skid steers for heavy-duty snow removal.
• Good old-fashioned shoveling when needed.

Here’s what we need from you:

• An eye for detail when it comes to maintenance work.
• Reliable transportation to reach our equipment yard in Lakeville on time. We've got the trucks to take you to and from work sites.
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions (safety is our priority, and we'll pull crews during extreme heat or cold).
• You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience is a plus, but remember, we're willing to train the right person.

During spring, summer, and fall, typical hours are Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 5 pm, with Fridays being a flexible day in case weather decides to mess up the schedule earlier in the week. You'll have Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day off. Winter hours are on-call, depending on when the snow decides to fall or accumulated snow or ice removal/prevention is needed.
