Responsibilities:
- Record and process journal entries for HR-related transactions, financial operations, and statutory reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SAP.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including variance analysis and supporting schedules.

Support the incentive accrual process, including review, calculations, and coordination with global teams.

Perform general ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including preparation of reports for government filings and internal stakeholders.

Monitor and resolve discrepancies in payroll GL interfaces and other financial transactions.

Update and maintain transaction details in databases and financial applications.

Assist with SOX documentation and compliance activities.

Liaise with global teams and business units to gather data and ensure reporting accuracy.

Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve day-to-day accounting issues.

Supervise junior team members and oversee daily deliverables.

Support ad hoc reporting and analysis tasks as required.
Shift timing - Night shift (5.30 PM to 2.30 AM)
Qualifications:
- Around 7-8 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting, preferably in an offshore or shared services environment.

Commerce graduate/postgraduate; CA/ICWA Intermediate preferred.
Additional Information:
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SAP accounting principles; familiarity with Indian Accounting Standards is a plus.

Experience with AP/AR/GL/ functions and financial close processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.

Exposure to ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).

Ability to interact with external auditors and support audit requests.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to apply judgment in ambiguous situations and make sound decisions.
