Lead Animator

Purpose of the Job

The main responsibilities for this role are to understand the basics of design to produce visually stunning, photo-realistic and aesthetically appealing visuals.

Main Accountabilities:

• To visualize the architectural spaces, both exterior and interior.
• Work closely with the creative team to produce impactful, photo-realistic 3D renderings.
• Understand the concepts and initial design intent, and apply this to a graphic representation.
• Prepare advanced presentations in various graphic mediums. Should be able to administer creative control, and provide quality assurance on creative deliverables.
• Lead the 3D visualization team and delegate work accordingly.
• Manage the deadlines and devise an efficient workflow to deliver the project on time.
• Read and accurately interpret architectural illustrations, 2D CAD files, or other 3D modeling data, as specified within projects, and realize those designs as compelling imagery.
• Development of a software library suitable for architectural rendering needs and applications.
• Efficient modeling and converting of data sets from CAD or other 3D modeling packages. 2D and 3D image compositing, finishing, and retouching operations on 3D renderings.

Qualifications/ language requirements

Minimum / essential

• Good knowledge of Architectural drawings, model making and visualization principles .
• Should be flexible enough to stay updated with new software and rendering engines.
• Should be able to take creative decisions to produce photo-realistic renderings.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Role Specific Knowledge & Experience

Minimum / essential

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in architectural modeling/rendering.
• Good knowledge of design principles and visualization.
• Certification in 3D renderings/3D Modelling (Optional)
• Demonstrable portfolio of excellent 3D rendering work in the field of architecture.
• Good creative thinking and visualization skills.
• Background in architecture is preferred but not compulsory.
• 3Ds Max, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Corona, Vray, Photoshop
