Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to support holistic childhood development.
• Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and learning among children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers.
• Manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs, and support early intervention efforts when necessary.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental milestones and tailor lesson plans accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and documentation requirements related to child welfare.

Experience

• Proven classroom management experience in early childhood education settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across multiple domains such as literacy, math, physical education, and special education strategies like early intervention.
• Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring additional support through special education or behavioral management techniques.
• Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
• Prior experience in private schools or daycare centers is preferred; Montessori training or certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices to support age-appropriate teaching methods.
