Lead - Finance & Accounts

About Us:

We are a UK-based media publishing house with operations across the UK and India. Our portfolio includes newspapers, magazines, and prestigious business award shows. We are currently seeking a Lead – Finance to manage and oversee our UK-based financial operations from our Kochi office.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end UK accounting processes including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closures.

Prepare financial statements in accordance with UK accounting standards.

Manage VAT filings, payroll coordination, and statutory compliances.

Coordinate with UK-based stakeholders for financial reporting and audits.

Lead the local finance team and ensure timely reporting and accuracy.

Monitor budgets, cash flow, and assist with financial forecasting.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Proven experience (4+ years) in handling UK-based accounting or working with UK clients.

Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles, VAT, and payroll systems.

Proficiency in accounting tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Willingness to work in UK time zone.

Preferred:

ACCA/CA (Inter/Final) or UK accounting certifications will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
