We are building a dedicated outbound sales engine to acquire US clients directly through cold calling. The Lead Generation Specialist is the foundation of this engine — you find the businesses our team calls, and the quality of your work directly determines the team’s success.

About This Role

As a Lead Generation Specialist, you are the starting point of our entire sales pipeline. Your job is to find, research, and qualify US Home Services businesses — plumbers, HVAC companies, electricians, roofers, and cleaning services — then deliver verified, enriched prospect data with personalization notes to our Cold Callers (SDRs) so they can convert those leads into paying clients.

This is not a generic data entry role. You are a strategic researcher who scrapes Google Maps and business directories, verifies phone numbers, enriches data with AI-generated personalization notes, and uploads qualified leads into our auto-dialer. You will experiment with different cities, search queries, and data sources to find businesses with the clearest signals that they need our help — outdated websites, few Google reviews, no online presence, or competitors outranking them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scrape and source US Home Services business leads using Google Maps scraping tools, business directories (Yelp, Yellow Pages, Angi), state contractor license databases, and other B2B data sources — targeting plumbers, HVAC companies, electricians, roofers, and cleaning services only.
  • Verify phone numbers using a two-level process: Level 1 (format validation in Google Sheets — digit count, area code, toll-free rejection, deduplication) and Level 2 (phone validation API to check if numbers are active, identify mobile vs landline, and remove disconnected numbers). Every lead uploaded must be verified.
  • Write or review AI-generated personalization notes for every lead — specific, signal-based notes referencing the business’s outdated website, low Google review count, missing Google Business profile, competitor ranking above them, or lack of online presence. The SDR reads this before every call.
  • Upload 80 to 100 qualified, verified leads per day into VICIdial (our auto-dialer) with all required fields: business name, phone number, website URL, decision-maker name/title, city/state, and personalization note.
  • Identify lead generation signals that indicate a business needs our services: no website, outdated website (copyright 2020 or older), fewer than 20 Google reviews, unclaimed Google Business profile, running ads to a bad website, no mobile optimization, no social media presence.
  • Build and maintain buffer stock of 200+ pre-qualified leads at all times — covering sick days, leave, or high-volume calling periods.
  • Review VICIdial disposition reports daily to track wrong number rates, wrong person rates, and DNC rates from yesterday’s list. Use this feedback to improve today’s sourcing strategy.
  • Document every process you build — your scraping workflows, verification steps, AI prompt templates, and quality checks. These documents will be used to train SDRs on self-service lead generation when the team scales.
  • Experiment with different cities, regions, and search queries to discover underserved markets with high concentrations of home services businesses that match our Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Collaborate daily with the Closer and SDRs to refine ICP targeting based on real call feedback — which cities connect better, which business types are most responsive, which data sources produce the most accurate phone numbers.
  • Prepare weekly reports on lead generation performance: total leads uploaded, wrong number rate, verification pass rate, buffer stock level, new cities/sources tested, and data quality trends.

Must-Have Requirements

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in B2B lead generation, data research, web scraping, or sales prospecting — preferably for US or international clients.
  • Experience using Google Maps scraping tools, business directories, or lead databases to extract business contact data at scale — you know how to find businesses, extract their details, clean the data, and prepare it for outreach.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets — formulas, data cleaning, deduplication, formatting. You spend most of your day in spreadsheets and must be fast and accurate.
  • Experience with phone or data validation tools (Twilio Lookup, NumVerify, or similar) — or willingness to learn quickly. We provide the validation script; you need to run it correctly.
  • Strong research and analytical skills — you can spot bad data, verify contacts, identify patterns, and maintain quality across 1,600+ leads per month.
  • Strong English written communication — your personalization notes, reports, and process documentation must be clear, professional, and useful for the calling team.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently without constant supervision — you manage your own daily output and quality.
  • Ability to work US shift hours (7 PM – 4 AM PKT, Monday–Friday) — non-negotiable.
  • Experience with Google Maps scraping platforms (Apollo.io, Outscraper, Apify, Scrap.io, or similar cloud-based scrapers).
  • Experience with n8n workflows or automation tools for building automated scraping and data enrichment pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for generating personalized prospect notes at scale.
