Lead Generation Specialist (Cold Calling – IT Asset Recovery)

Job Summary

Verditech, the IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) division of SurfaceTek, is hiring a Lead Generation Specialist focused on outbound cold calling and prospecting.

This role is responsible for identifying businesses with idle, surplus, or decommissioned IT equipment and generating qualified opportunities for our purchasing team.

This is a high-volume outbound role — you will be expected to make 75–100+ cold calls per day.

What You’ll Do

  • Make 75–100+ outbound cold calls daily
  • Identify companies with unused or decommissioned laptops and IT equipment
  • Engage decision-makers (IT managers, office managers, business owners)
  • Qualify opportunities and gather key details (equipment type, quantity, condition)
  • Set appointments or pass qualified leads to the purchasing team
  • Maintain detailed notes and activity in CRM
  • Consistently hit daily and weekly lead generation targets

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of cold calling or outbound lead generation experience
  • Proven ability to handle high call volume daily
  • Strong communication and phone presence
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and ask effective qualifying questions
  • Comfortable handling rejection and staying consistent
  • Ability to work in-office full-time
