Lead Toddler Teacher

We are looking for caring, dependable, and energetic Toddler Teachers to join our early childhood team! If you are passionate about working with young children and creating a nurturing learning environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for toddlers
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging, classroom environment
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive development
• Maintain daily communication with families
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Supervise classroom staff and maintain classroom organization

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants for Lead Toddler Teacher must have one of the following:

• Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
• Valid Child Developmental Associate (CDA) credential
• Montessori credential with toddler coursework
• 6 semester hours, 9 CEU's, or a combination to equal 90 clock hours of coursework in early childhood education.
• At least 3 semester hours, or 4.5 CEU's or 45 hours of MiRegistry-approved courses in infant and toddler development and care practices within 6 months of hire.

Additional Requirements

• Must be 19 years or older
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or within 90 days of hire)
• Completion of Health & Safety training required by Michigan licensing
• Experience working with toddlers preferred
