Lead UX Designer

Lead UX Designer | Fulltime

Job Description:

Job Purpose

We’re looking for a UI/UX Lead who can drive impactful digital experiences through both UX design advisory and UI design work. In this role, he/she will guide clients in defining and achieving their UX goals, conduct in-depth user research, design user-centered visual interfaces, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Consulting: Partner with clients to define UX Goals, aligning design solutions with business objectives and user needs.
  • User Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and field studies, and synthesize findings into actionable insights for clients.
  • Information Architecture and Interaction Design: Establish and refine information structures and interaction patterns for intuitive, seamless navigation and usability.
  • User Experience Design:develop and present user flows, Journey Maps, personas, wireframes, and prototypes that embody user-centered design principles.
  • UI Design: Create visually compelling, high-fidelity UI designs for mobile and web that adhere to brand standards and design systems,paying attention to layout, typography, color, and spacing.
  • Design System Adherence: Work within an existing Figma design system, ensuring consistency with brand and style guidelines.
  • Component and Interaction Design: Develop scalable, reusable components and interactive elements (buttons, menus, animations) that enhance user engagement.
  • Responsive Design: Ensure a seamless experience across devices and screen sizes, from mobile to desktop.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Develop interactive prototypes and lead usability testing sessions to validate design concepts, gathering feedback to refine and enhance the user experience.
  • Client Presentations and Advisory: Present research insights, design concepts, and project progress to clients, addressing feedback, aligning on goals, and advising on best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure a shared vision and cohesive design implementation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • UX knowledge Sharing: build a user centric culture through conducting trainings and sessions; and continuously improve the UX processes and strategies

Job Requirements:

Must Have Professional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design or consulting roles, with a strong foundation in user research and UI design
  • Bachelor's degree in fine/applied arts or computer science or relevant HCI studies
  • Master degree in UX field or HCI is a plus
  • One or more UX certifications is a must
  • Experience in Agile projects is a must
  • Proficiency in Figma and experience with design systems and prototyping.
  • Demonstrated experience in user research methods, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing is a must
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects with a research-driven approach
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, capable of advising and guiding clients throughout the design process
  • Experience in personalization is preferred
  • Experience in information architecture design is a must
  • Experience in designing responsive experiences and native mobile apps is a must.
