About Your Team

You’ll report to the Learning & Development Business Partner, delivering L&D for UAE operations, which will either be ALEC Building or Group Head Office and affiliated businesses.

This role is full time, and follows a Monday to Friday work week, offering weekends off to support work-life balance.

Your Role

As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will:

• Identify skill gaps and learning needs through surveys, interviews, and performance data. Design and develop tailored training programmes, workshops, and materials aligned with business goals
• Facilitate engaging learning experiences via classroom sessions, online courses, webinars, and workshops. Support onboarding programmes to ensure smooth integration and skill acquisition for new hires. Liaise with internal and external trainers to confirm delivery schedules and distribute pre/post-training materials
• Measure training effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and KPIs. Stay current with industry trends to enhance learning strategies and outcomes.
• Work closely with subject matter experts and managers to align training with strategic objectives. Provide ongoing coaching and support to reinforce employee development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and suggesting enhancements to processes and systems

What We’re Looking For

• High School Certificate in appropriate discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience
• Work experience of at least 3 years as a Learning and Development specialist
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping (MS Office Suite mandatory)
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members, cross functional teams and stakeholders.

Desirables:

• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Experience supporting virtual and in person training delivery
• Completed Train the Trainer qualification
• Data analysis and reporting for Learning & Development Metrics
• Driving license (mandatory)
