Learning & Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess organizational and employee training needs through skills gap analysis and stakeholder consultations
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs
  • Create and update learning materials, including presentations, job aids, and e-learning content
  • Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics
  • Partner with managers to support leadership development and career growth initiatives
  • Ensure learning programs align with company goals, values, and compliance requirements
  • Stay current on learning trends, tools, and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Organizational Development
  • Strong instructional design and facilitation skills
  • Experience with adult learning principles and blended learning approaches
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms and e-learning tools
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to analyze data and measure learning impact

Preferred Skills

  • Certification in L&D, HR, or instructional design (e.g., CPLP, ATD, SHRM, CIPD)
  • Experience with leadership development and talent development programs
  • Knowledge of change management and performance improvement frameworks
