Job Summary

The Leasing Officer is responsible for managing all leasing activities related to an office building’s commercial space. The role focuses on maximizing occupancy, building strong tenant relationships, negotiating office lease agreements, and ensuring smooth leasing operations in compliance with company policies and Qatar regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Office Space Marketing & Tenant Acquisition

  • Promote and advertise available office spaces to potential tenants through various channels (online listings, brokers, etc.).
  • Respond to tenant inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct office tours and presentations to illustrate the building’s features, benefits, and leasing terms.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, corporate clients, to generate leasing leads.

2. Lease Negotiation & Execution

  • Negotiate lease terms including rates, lease duration, escalations, and other conditions that align with company goals.
  • Draft, review, and prepare lease agreements and related documentation.
  • Ensure lease terms comply with internal policies, industry practices, and applicable laws.
  • Coordinate execution of contracts with legal and finance teams as needed.

3. Tenant Relations & Lease Administration

  • Act as the main point of contact for office tenants during the leasing process and tenancy.
  • Handle tenant requests, lease renewals, extensions, and terminations proactively.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant files, lease data, occupancy schedules, and follow-ups.
  • Work with property management and maintenance teams to ensure leased spaces are delivered and maintained to tenant standards.

4. Market Research & Reporting

  • Conduct market research to track rental trends, competitor pricing, and office space demand in Qatar.
  • Prepare leasing performance reports, occupancy updates, and forecasts for management.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field is preferred

Experience

  • Experience in commercial real estate leasing in Qatar — specifically office or retail spaces — is strongly preferred.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and sales skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • Knowledge of Qatar’s real estate laws and commercial leasing procedures.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused.
