KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirements
- Strong cooking and culinary skills
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Preferably Lebanese or Arabic Speakers for this position
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes as per brand standards
- Ensure consistency in food quality, portion size, and presentation
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth workflow
- Ensure all mise en place is prepared fresh and on time
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (HACCP)
- Monitor food quality, taste, and consistency
- Manage food logs and kitchen documentation
- Control food wastage and maintain wastage records
- Support food cost control and inventory management
- Ensure proper stock storage and rotation
- Assist in ordering and receiving stock
- Train, guide, and support junior kitchen staff
- Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of kitchen staff when required
- Handle customer feedback and ensure satisfaction
- Support service team to meet customer expectations
- Report maintenance issues and kitchen hazards immediately
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed
- Assist in opening and closing kitchen operations when required
- Work closely with management and communicate effectively
- Perform additional duties as assigned by senior chefs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
