Manager for commercial projects
The Role We are looking for a leader with a legal background who is highly effective at holding teams accountable and ensuring delivery against agreed objectives and timelines.
This role requires a sharp eye for detail, excellent governance acumen, and the ability to to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders without losing sight of the bigger picture.
As Manager, you will:
- Drive operational excellence by ensuring teams deliver on time and to standard.
- Create a culture of accountability, where responsibilities are clear and progress is tracked. •Balance legal, ethical, and governance standards with the need for efficient, results driven operations.
- Inspire and align people around a shared mission, while making tough decisions to keep the organisation on track.
- Act as the bridge between the Board and delivery teams, translating strategy into clear, achievable action.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organisation in delivering its strategy, ensuring clarity of goals, responsibilities, and timelines across teams.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed standards.
- Monitor organisational performance, using KPIs and reporting to the Board.
- Identify risks to delivery early and implement corrective action.
- Build strong cross-team collaboration to maximise efficiency and impact.
- Build a high-performing, accountable culture where teams are empowered but held responsible for results.
Person Specification Essential:
- Qualified lawyer (solicitor, barrister, or equivalent) with 2-5 years’ experience applying legal skills to organisational or project delivery.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
- Strong communicator and influencer, able to align internal teams and inspire external stakeholders.
- Resilient, decisive, and comfortable making tough calls to maintain delivery momentum.
Desirable:
- Prior leadership experience where delivery accountability was a core focus.
- Experience engaging with Boards & Trustees.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
