About the Role

As a Legal Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Tanla’s legal operations by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and mitigating legal risks. You’ll be responsible for handling legal documentation across technology, telecom, and enterprise business units, while supporting the Legal Director in key litigation and regulatory matters. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in contract management, compliance, and corporate legal processes within a fast-paced CPaaS environment.

You’ll be Responsible for:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including technology, telecom, and enterprise agreements.
  • Providing legal advice to internal stakeholders and documenting business arrangements in the form of contracts, undertakings, and related legal documents.
  • Managing compliance and risk assessment by reviewing undertakings, certificates, and other legal instruments to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Performing risk identification and mitigation, raising legal queries, and preparing reports for internal teams.
  • Supporting the Legal Director on litigation matters, coordinating with external counsel, and ensuring effective representation and case reporting.
  • Staying updated on statutory and regulatory developments, court rulings, and compliance updates relevant to Tanla’s business.
  • Using tools like Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and compliance systems for contract tracking and documentation.


You’d Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in legal drafting, contract negotiation, and compliance, preferably in the technology or telecom domain.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial laws, arbitration laws, and data protection/privacy laws.
  • Experience working on RFPs/RFQs and contract review for tech and enterprise clients.
  • Proven track record of providing accurate, business-oriented legal counsel.
  • Exposure to litigation management and in-house legal operations is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in tools like CLM systems and compliance monitoring platforms.
