Job Summary

The Legal Advisor will be responsible for providing legal guidance, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, managing contracts, handling disputes, and safeguarding the organization’s legal interests. The role requires close coordination with internal departments and external legal authorities.

Key ResponsibilitiesLegal Advisory & Compliance

  • Provide legal advice and opinions to management on corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory matters.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in laws and advise management on necessary actions and implications.

Contracts & Documentation

  • Draft, review, vet, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MoUs, NDAs, leases, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure contracts align with company policies and protect organizational interests.
  • Maintain proper documentation and legal records.

Litigation & Dispute Management

  • Handle legal notices, replies, and correspondence with advocates, courts, and authorities.
  • Coordinate with external counsels for litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters.
  • Track case status and ensure timely follow-ups and compliance with court orders.

Corporate & Labor Laws

  • Advise on matters related to Company Law, Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, and Employment Laws.
  • Support HR in handling disciplinary actions, terminations, and employee-related legal issues.
  • Ensure statutory filings, licenses, and registrations are up to date.

Risk Management

  • Identify legal risks and propose preventive and corrective measures.
  • Assist in developing internal policies and SOPs to minimize legal exposure.

Required Qualifications

  • LL.B / LL.M from a recognized university.
  • Enrollment with State Bar Council (mandatory).

Experience

  • 5–10 years of relevant experience as a Legal Advisor / Legal Executive / Corporate Lawyer.
  • Experience in handling corporate, commercial, and labor law matters preferred.

  • Real Estate / Manufacturing / Infrastructure / Service Industry (customizable as per requirement)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,372.52 - ₹34,076.34 per month
