Legal Immigration Officer

Job Summary:
A Legal Immigration Officer is responsible for managing and processing immigration-related cases in compliance with national and international laws. The role involves advising clients or applicants, reviewing legal documentation, and ensuring that all immigration procedures are handled accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess immigration applications, petitions, and supporting documents
  • Ensure compliance with immigration laws, policies, and regulations
  • Provide legal guidance to clients, applicants, or organizations on immigration matters
  • Prepare and submit visa, residency, asylum, or citizenship applications
  • Conduct interviews and gather relevant information from applicants
  • Liaise with government authorities, embassies, and legal representatives
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation
  • Monitor changes in immigration laws and update procedures accordingly
  • Handle appeals, refusals, and complex legal immigration cases

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field
  • Specialized knowledge of immigration law and procedures
  • Relevant certification or legal training (preferred)
  • Prior experience in immigration services, legal practice, or government agencies (often 1–3+ years)

Job Condition:

  • Office based (onsite)

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month
