Legal Manager

Role Summary

The Legal Manager will be responsible for handling litigation, legal compliance, contract management and legal advisory support for Shalby and its group entities, including coordination with external advocates and authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all civil, criminal, court cases and arbitration matters of the company and group.
  • Liaise and brief external advocates and monitor ongoing litigations across courts and forums.
  • Draft, issue and respond to various legal notices (including recovery and statutory notices) received in the name of the hospital, company and doctors.
  • Draft and review agreements, MOUs, affidavits, letters, certificates and other legal documents.
  • Draft and review doctor agreements and other commercial contracts.
  • Track execution, validity and timely renewal of agreements.
  • Ensure legal and statutory compliances of Shalby and Shalby Group.
  • File and monitor Trade Mark applications and coordinate with advocates for status updates.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to management on operational and strategic matters.
  • Coordinate and follow up on all litigations pending against the company in various courts and forums.
  • Prepare legal MIS, reports, execution briefs and presentations for periodic review with the Senior Management Team.
  • Verify advocate fee bills and maintain payment schedules.
  • Represent the company before various quasi-judicial authorities as and when required.
  • Provide local legal liaison and compliance support to internal teams at different locations.
  • Liaise with authorities and police departments for filing FIRs/complaints on behalf of the company, whenever required.
  • Conduct periodic legal awareness and training sessions for the management team on applicable laws and regulations.
  • Work closely and confidentially with leadership on critical matters including M&A transactions.

Litigation & Investigation Support

  • Attend courts and arbitration offices in relation to commercial, contractual and operational disputes.
  • Attend police stations and other authorities including

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), as required in company, directors’ and KMP-related matters.

  • Ensure proper maintenance and management of court records, litigation files and legal documentation.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of litigation handling, contract drafting and legal compliance.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with advocates, authorities and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation, reporting and communication skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and professional judgment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
