Legal Officer

Key Responsibilities

Real Estate & Land Legal Matters

  • Handle land due diligence, title verification, and legal risk assessment.
  • Draft, review, and vet land-related documents including sale deeds, lease deeds, development agreements, MoUs, and JV agreements.
  • Coordinate with external advocates and consultants for land and property matters.

Contracts & Documentation

  • Draft, review, and negotiate construction, EPC, vendor, consultant, and service agreements.
  • Vet commercial contracts, NDAs, and corporate agreements.
  • Ensure contracts are legally robust and aligned with business objectives.

Regulatory & Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with real estate laws including RERA, local development regulations, and applicable state laws.
  • Support approvals, registrations, and statutory filings related to real estate projects.
  • Monitor changes in legal and regulatory frameworks impacting real estate operations.

Litigation & Dispute Management

  • Manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters.
  • Coordinate with external counsels for court cases, notices, and legal proceedings.
  • Track case status and advise management on legal exposure and strategy.

Risk Management & Advisory

  • Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Advise management on legal implications of business decisions.
  • Support corporate governance and internal control frameworks.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare legal MIS, case trackers, and compliance reports.
  • Coordinate with projects, commercial, finance, procurement, and HR teams.

  • Strong expertise in real estate and property laws
  • Contract drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment
  • Litigation management and regulatory compliance
  • Strong analytical, communication, and advisory skills
  • Ability to work closely with senior management

Qualifications & Experience

  • LLB / LLM from a recognized university
  • 3–5+ years of experience
  • Experience handling complex land, regulatory, and contractual matters

Reporting To

Director / Legal Head (as applicable)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
