Legal Receptionist

We are looking for a Legal Receptionist to work in a small law firm focusing on personal injury and medical malpractice cases. We are a small firm, but we get big results. We are looking for someone who works well with others and can jump in to tackle whatever challenge or task the day presents.

• Excellent phone rapport
• Word processing and formatting
• Ability to communicate over multiple platforms including phone, e-mail, letter, and fax
• Attention to detail
• Customer service skills
• Enjoys jumping in and trying new things
• Strong proof-reading skills
• Ability to multi task
• Positive, upbeat attitude even in a stressful environment
• Discretion to maintain client confidentiality

Daily Tasks Include (but not limited to):

• Answering phones
• Handling potential new client leads
• Scanning documents
• Requesting medical records
• Preparing communication (letters, e-mails, and faxes) from transcription and sending them to the appropriate party.
• Filing paperwork
• Assisting the attorney as needed with various office tasks.
