Legal Receptionist

Position Overview

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a well-established Downtown Los Angeles law firm to find an experienced Legal Client Experience Coordinator. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a polished professional with prior front desk or reception experience who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. As the first point of contact for the firm, this role plays a key role in shaping each client's experience, ensuring the front desk and common areas reflect the firm's high standards of professionalism and service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the face of the firm by welcoming clients, attorneys, and visitors with a high level of professionalism and hospitality.
• Manage front desk operations, including visitor check-in, phone coverage, and daily reception duties.
• Coordinate conference room scheduling, catering, and meeting logistics.
• Support hybrid and in-person meetings by setting up Zoom, A/V equipment, and assisting with basic technical troubleshooting.
• Handle administrative tasks such as mail distribution, office supply inventory, and maintaining an organized, polished reception area.
• Liaise with building management and IT to address facility or technology-related needs.
• Assist with office projects, safety procedures, and committees as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven front desk, reception, or client-facing experience in a professional services environment.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay composed, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• 2-3 years of front desk, reception, or administrative experience (law firm or professional services environment preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and video conferencing tools (Zoom, A/V systems).
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues alongside remote IT support.
