Position Description: Legal Receptionist/Legal Assistant
The primary role of the Legal Receptionist is to serve as a first point of contact for current and prospective clients for a high-volume estate planning law firm. The responsibilities of the Legal Receptionist will include the following:
· Respond to client inquiries;
· Perform client intakes;
· Manage scheduling and appointments;
· Gather client information;
· Maintain client databases;
· Prepare and generate invoices,
· Create and maintain electronic client files,
· Communicate with insurance providers; and
· Provide general administrative support.
This position can also develop to the following responsibilities:
· Draft and prepare various estate planning documents (Revocable Living Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and ancillary documents);
· Prepare LLC formation documents;
· Draft and prepare Quit Claim Deeds for various property transfers; and,
· Perform legal research as needed.
The successful candidate must be highly detail-oriented, have strong organizational and multitasking skills, have excellent verbal and written client communication skills, work independently, and be adept at using various software programs (CLIO, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Email, Adobe, etc.).
It is preferred that the candidate have at least one year of experience working as a legal receptionist or legal assistant at a law firm.
Availability: This is a hybrid position that will require two to three days a week in the office, with the majority of the work performed remotely.
Education Requirements: A bachelor’s or associate’s degree. (Relevant legal experience can substitute for the requirement)

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
