Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations by greeting visitors, answering phones with professionalism, and directing inquiries efficiently.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings.
- Prepare, review, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, reports, and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with document review, data entry, filing, and transcription tasks to streamline case workflows.
- Support project management initiatives related to litigation, estate planning, or other legal matters by coordinating tasks and tracking deadlines.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette while handling client inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals
- Prepare and assist with real estate documents, including title reports and deeds
- Organize and maintain legal files and case materials
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy, grammar, and consistency
- Assist with general case management and office operation
- Prior experience in a law firm preferred
- Experience preparing real estate documents (title reports, deeds) required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Should be a self-starter who can work productively with little to no supervision
- Professional, dependable, and discreet in handling confidential information
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a legal secretary or in a legal administrative role within a law office environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Demonstrated experience in document review, proofreading, transcription services and drafting legal documents.
- Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette and client interaction capabilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
