Licensed Esthetician and Wax Specialist

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Provide professional skincare treatments including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, and aesthetic laser treatments such as laser hair removal.
• Perform a variety of waxing services including body waxing, facial waxing, and hair threading with precision and care.
• Conduct tinting services for eyebrows and eyelashes to enhance clients’ features.
• Deliver expert makeup application and nail care services to complete clients’ beauty routines.
• Maintain strict sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
• Engage with clients through effective communication, understanding their skincare needs, and recommending suitable treatments or retail products.
• Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records management, and sales transactions.
• Drive retail sales by educating clients on skincare products and aesthetic treatments that meet their individual needs.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Esthetician with certification in waxing services.
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in skincare, waxing, laser treatments, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and makeup application.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards essential for esthetic practices.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships.
• Familiarity with salon software platforms such as MINDBODY or similar systems for scheduling and sales management.
• Ability to perform multiple aesthetic treatments including laser hair removal, skin tightening, facials, tinting services, nail care, and hair threading confidently.
• A passion for the beauty industry coupled with a proactive attitude towards client satisfaction and retail sales growth.

Pay: $200.00 - $500.00 per day
