Position Overview:
The Litigation Calendar Clerk will be responsible for managing and maintaining the firm’s master calendar, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable court rules and deadlines. This position requires prior paralegal or other legal experience and a strong command of litigation calendaring in both state and federal matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Calendar all litigation deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial dates in accordance with the California Code of Civil Procedure, Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and local court rules.
  • Review all filings, court notices, and minute orders daily to update case calendars accordingly.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure all deadlines are accurately entered and tracked.
  • Utilize Clio to maintain and distribute calendar reports.
  • Confirm hearing dates and schedules with various courts (LASC, OCSC, CAND, CACD, etc.).
  • Provide proactive deadline reminders and follow up on continuances or rescheduled events.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of litigation calendaring experience required.
  • Prior paralegal or legal administrative experience in a law firm setting.
  • Proficiency in Clio or similar case management software.
  • Thorough understanding of California and Federal Rules of Court.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
