Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator for Medical Equipment Supply will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process for medical equipment and healthcare supplies. This role ensures timely procurement, safe transportation, proper storage, regulatory compliance, and accurate documentation of sensitive and high-value medical products. The position plays a critical role in maintaining uninterrupted supply to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments of medical equipment and supplies
  • Plan and schedule deliveries to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities
  • Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, and customs brokers

2. Inventory Management

  • Monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory
  • Coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and dispatch
  • Ensure proper handling and storage conditions (temperature-sensitive items if applicable)
  • Conduct periodic inventory audits and reconciliations

3. Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and import/export requirements
  • Maintain accurate shipping, customs, and regulatory documentation
  • Coordinate product registration and necessary certifications when required
  • Follow healthcare safety and quality standards

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding shipment schedules
  • Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, sales, finance, service teams)
  • Resolve delivery issues, damages, or discrepancies promptly
  • Support installation scheduling and after-sales service logistics

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and delivery notes
  • Maintain logistics records and tracking systems
  • Prepare regular reports on shipment status, inventory levels, and logistics KPIs
  • Monitor logistics costs and recommend cost-saving improvements

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations
  • Experience in medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare supply is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
