Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Export Documentation

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator with a finance background to support our trade operations team. This role combines knowledge of shipping/export documentation with an understanding of trade finance instruments such as Letters of Credit (LCs) and Trust Receipts. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented candidate who wants to grow in the areas of logistics, banking, and international trade finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and coordinate export and import shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Insurance Certificate, etc.).
  • Assist in preparing Letter of Credit (LC) document presentations, ensuring compliance with UCP 600 and ISBP guidelines.
  • Support the finance team in handling Trust Receipts, Local Bills Discounting (LBD), and other trade finance-related instruments.
  • Liaise with banks, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clients for timely processing of trade and shipping documents.
  • Monitor shipment and document timelines to ensure smooth transaction flow.
  • Maintain accurate records of trade finance and logistics documentation.
  • Assist in reconciling accounts and settlements related to trade transactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, International Trade, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in trade finance or shipping documentation
  • Knowledge of Letters of Credit (LC), UCP 600, and Incoterms is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of logistics and export/import processes preferred.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Good communication and coordination skills
