Logistics Coordinator/ Supply Chain

JOB ROLES &RESPONSIBILITIES

• Job holder must coordinate and execute the daily transportation schedule/plan set by the supervisor in charge to ensure timely and safe transportation at all times.
• The job holder must ensure the drivers know the cargo description they are transporting (size, height, weight, etc ), ensure they know the location they are heading to as well as the requested date and time of delivery, and ensure that drivers know the route to follow.
• The job holder must ensure timely and sound deliveries, he has to ensure the daily checklists (safe loading C.L. / Container C.L. / etc ), are being maintained and followed as per company policy and procedures.
• The job holder should provide supervision and direction to the drivers including on-time POD collection.
• The job holder ensures safe loading and transportation of cargo at all times.
• The holder must update and send the daily reports. (DAILY PORT OPERATION etc )
• The job holder is responsible for the movement of the trucks and coordination between the drivers and the loading and delivery representatives.
• The job holder will be supervised by the Transport Supervisor daily.
• The job holder must communicate and follow up with the Customers on the Delivery Schedule.
• The holder should have excellent customer service skills, establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, colleagues, and clients, and well knowledge of communication thru email.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR3,800.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
