Role Overview

We are looking for a Logistics Director to lead and manage our logistics division. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in shipping, supply chain management, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for shaping AK Shipping’s logistics strategy, ensuring smooth operations, and driving growth across regional and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee shipping operations, supply chain processes, and distribution networks.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to optimize performance.
• Monitor KPIs, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.
• Lead and mentor logistics teams, fostering accountability and excellence.
• Represent AK Shipping in industry forums, trade shows, and professional networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of logistics or shipping experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of maritime operations, supply chain systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven track record of managing complex logistics operations.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RO2,200.000 per month
