Logistics Foreman - Maritime & Shipping Cluster, OFCO

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for all cargo loading and offloading operations are conducted correctly and safely and maintain time sheet record and report to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all cargo loading, offloading and bunker operations are conducted correctly and safely.
• Ensure all cargo is sea fastened in the correct and safe manner.
• Assist in all daily logistic tasks.
• Ensure all project information is reported to the Logistics Superintendent and Supervisor.
• Keep a record of all movements, timings, cargo details and record any delays.
• Ensure vessels are efficiently and safely loaded.
• Ensure all logistics team members and sub-contractors work safely and follow OFCO and client safety guidelines.
• Coordinate all lifting operations.
• Ensuring all stores and lifting equipment is maintained Coordinate all lifting operations.
• Implementation of company IMS policy and subsidiary policies.
• Participate in HAZARD identification assessment and implementation of identified mitigations and controls.
• Identify and report any substandard conditions and practices
• Report any deficiencies in firefighting equipment and other safety controls.
• Responsible for ensuring proper site controls, safety furniture, and safe work conditions in his site.
• Participate in site walk-through visits and close out the findings.
• Participation in all HSE-related campaigns, training, drills, SGM, and safety observation reporting
• Responsible for the safety of himself and other team-members.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and housekeeping condition of his site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 7 years 'experience in the operation field.
• Maritime experience is essential for this role
