Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Officer with a strong background in shipping and freight operations to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating logistics activities, ensuring smooth shipping, customs clearance, and timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all logistics, shipping, and supply chain operations.
• Handle import and export documentation, shipping instructions, and customs requirements.
• Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth operations.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery while minimizing costs and delays.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and customs documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE shipping laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare logistics reports and maintain KPIs for efficiency and cost control.
• Collaborate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and internal departments to optimize processes.
• Handle problem-solving for shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in shipping/logistics in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs clearance, and UAE port operations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (ERP systems is a plus).
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience in freight forwarding or shipping agency.
• UAE Driving License.
• Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
