Logistics Officer (Outsourced)

We are currently hiring for the role of Logistics Officer and Logistics Coordinator as an off-structure and outsourced position.

The position will be under sponsorship and payrolls of our empaneled consultant.

• An Ideal candidate should be Bachelor of Engineering, preferably in civil discipline with minimum 3 years of experience in logistics in construction/ real estate site in Qatar.
• Locally available candidate with valid QID.
• Candidate should have good level of English communication skills.
• Familiar with local road and transport conditions

The Logistics Officer would be responsible to follow and implement standard site logistics management procedures, update Lusail site wide access management plan and manage the laydown and storage areas within assigned construction areas.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identifying, mobilizing resources, implementing and reporting on special logistics operations while coordinating with contractor's logistics team and preparing daily reports.
• Overseeing all logistics/ traffic management plan and support contractor for timely implementation, ongoing maintenance and safe operations. He should be able to secure roads and control movement of vehicles within the site.
• Monitoring and overseeing site storage & office facilities of contractor are in line with approved plan.
• Monitoring storage materials within the site and coordinating with other logistics team member while managing activities, schedules and resources in support of construction areas assigned.
• Planning and handling site related problems.
