Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Specialist SE4 to support the 40th FLTS located at Eglin AFB, FL.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must have an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.

Masters's degree in applicable discipline and over 10 years of related experience. Twelve years of relevant technical experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree (total 22 years).
- Familiarity with A-10 / F-16 / F-15 / F-35 aircraft
- Knowledge of 96TW Scheduling process
- Experience with Aircraft Maintenance and Support requirements
- In depth knowledge and familiarity with AF T.O. System and AF Publications
- Experience with Munitions scheduling/receiving/shipping requirements
- Experience with Flight line Driving procedures and requirements
- Knowledge of AF and Commercial Shipping processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Experience with Center for Scheduling Excellence (CSE)
- Familiarity with LITENING and Sniper Targeting Pods
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Provides complex logistical and management support.

Ensures compliance of activities under area of responsibility with logistical requirements.
- Test agencies liaison for all flight line operations involving 40 FTS aircraft.
- Develops or secures Weapons Technical Data, or coordinates waivers to standard procedures to support Developmental Testing primarily for the armament/munitions functional areas but may also work technical data issues for other functional areas.
- Works closely with 96 AMXS/40FLTS weapons flights on all issues related to armament testing. Will write aircraft loading technical data as required when other agencies utilize 40 FTS aircraft.
- Works with Weapons Standardization and Wing Weapons manager on all testing issues related to weapons loading and maintenance.
- Manages Modified/Instrumented Alternate Mission Equipment and assists 40 FLTS Instrumentation managers with weapons systems modifications.
- Assists in initial familiarization on new armament items undergoing testing and assists in procurement of load training items.
- Reviews flight clearances and assists Test Engineers in all phases of test planning and execution related to armament/munitions/aircraft maintenance.
- Works with support personnel for aircraft and munitions scheduling.
- Some travel may be required in support of test operations.
