Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Logistics Supervisor with experience in plastic resin and film operations. This role will oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse staff to ensure materials and finished products are handled accurately and delivered on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics within a plastics or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations.
• Oversee handling and storage of plastic resin, rolls of film, and related materials.
• Ensure accurate documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Maintain inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile variances.
• Train and coach warehouse staff on safe handling of raw materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and carriers to meet delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Monitor workflow, identify process improvements, and support cost-reduction initiatives.
• Prepare logistics reports, including KPIs and shipping/receiving summaries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution; supervisory experience required.
• Background in plastics, resin, film, or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and shipping procedures.
• Familiarity with ERP or WMS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Forklift certification a plus.
