Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex systems, and executing repairs across various mechanical, electrical, and facility-related areas. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Repair or replace faulty components through welding, electrical work, or mechanical adjustments to ensure continuous operation.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems.
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting automation systems and making necessary adjustments.
- Conduct residential painting tasks as needed for facility upkeep or improvements.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects while ensuring safety standards are met.
- Lead or support team efforts in manufacturing environments with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from internal teams or clients.
- Support leadership in training or supervising junior technicians or apprentices when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong electrical experience including wiring, troubleshooting circuits, and working with schematics.
- Mechanical knowledge with skills in welding, plumbing, and general repair techniques.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
- Ability to read technical schematics and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Experience in residential painting is a plus for facility upgrades or aesthetic improvements.
- Supervising experience is preferred to support team coordination and project management.
- Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.50 per hour
