Key Responsibilities (Main Focus: Equipment)
1. Installation & Setup

Install commercial kitchen equipment (gas & electric).

Connect equipment to electrical, gas, and water lines.

Test equipment after installation to ensure proper operation.
2. Maintenance & Servicing
-
Perform preventive maintenance on:
-
Ovens (convection, combi)
-
Fryers
-
Grills
-
Dishwashers
-
Food warmers , cabinets .
-
Mixers and food processors
-
Clean and inspect burners, heating elements, thermostats, and safety controls.
-
Replace worn or damaged components.
3. Troubleshooting & Repair
-
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
-
Repair or replace faulty parts such as:
-
Heating elements
-
Contactors and relays
-
Thermostats
-
Motors
-
Gas valves
-
Use diagnostic tools like multimeters and clamp meters.
-
Perform emergency breakdown repairs.
4. Safety & Compliance
-
Ensure compliance with electrical and gas safety standards.

Check for gas leaks and electrical hazards.
-
Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
-
Maintain service records and documentation.

Diploma or Technical Certification in:

2–5 years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair (preferred)

Qatar Driver's License is mandatory for this role

Knowledge of gas safety regulations (if working with gas equipment)
