Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities by performing inspections, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs on a variety of building systems and equipment.
Important: This position supports two work locations in the Shelby Township and Auburn Hills areas. We are specifically looking for candidates who live in or near the corridor between these locations, including communities such as Rochester Hills, Troy, or surrounding areas, to allow for convenient travel between sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, appliances, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations.
- Coordinate with contractors and support small maintenance projects.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Service Technician, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration equipment, and general facility maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- HVAC/R, appliance repair, or related certifications are a plus.
- Ability to travel between our Shelby Township and Auburn Hills locations.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
