Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms and meeting space, building systems, machinery, and equipment to minimize downtime and extend lifespan
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues related to HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), appliances, and other mechanical components
• Conduct appliance repairs and service tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference
• Assist with projects as needed to improve facility infrastructure
• Support team efforts during equipment upgrades or major repairs to ensure timely completion
• Must have strong communication skills between various departments
• Hotel experience is a plus

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair and equipment troubleshooting
• Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical wiring diagrams
• Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning units, and related controls
• Knowledge of practices related to facility maintenance or upgrades
• Ability to operate specialized tools and repair equipment safely and effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to maintenance tasks
