Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Status: Full-Time or Part-Time, non-exempt

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour, non-exempt

Who We Are: Lark Brewing Co. is a farm brewery located in Northern Virginia. Our brewery boasts an expansive indoor taproom, two scenic outdoor pavilions, and private event spaces. We are dedicated to providing exceptional craft beer and food and memorable experiences for our patrons.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance and Groundskeeper to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of the property grounds, as well as assisting with general handyman and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping outdoor and shared spaces safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Perform regular landscaping duties including power washing, mulching, blowing, sweeping, weeding and general bed maintenance.
• Remove trash, debris, and snow from walkways as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of outdoor furniture, signage, and other amenities.
• Inspect grounds for safety hazards and report issues promptly.
• Assist with routine repairs such as fixing doors, fixtures and minor plumbing issues.
• Support maintenance team with larger repair projects when needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Move about facility and stand for extended periords of time
• Bend and stoop while performing job duties
• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Dress per requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to effectively listen and take direction from supervisor.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a smile.
