Job description:
CACTUS is a remote-first organization and we embrace an accelerate from anywhere culture. For this critical role, we are looking for the candidate to be based in Mumbai. You may choose to work from home in Mumbai; however, you will be required to travel to our Andheri East office once a week for business requirements, meetings, or company/team events, or on short notice as needed.

We are looking for a Manager, Accounts Receivable with a key focus on managing operations. The Manager, Accounts Receivable is responsible to handle a team of analysts focusing on payment allocation against open receivables as per the agreed TAT and 100% accuracy. The role demands effective internal and external communication along with extended collaboration with teams located in different geographies. The role will cater monthly reporting requirements along with detailed analysis of market-wise trends and other adhoc management reporting enabling effective decision making. Further they will also be responsible for working with the team to set appropriate internal financial controls.
Job responsibilities:
  • Oversee end-to-end Accounts Receivable operations including invoicing, reconciliations, and credit/debit note management.
  • Manage cash application processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Drive process optimization, standardization, and automation initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 5–6 analysts to ensure performance and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline workflows.
  • Prepare and manage reporting, including BI dashboards, DSO, and business analytics for management reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and act as the point of contact for audits.
Qualifications and prerequisites:
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with 6+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of team management.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable operations, invoicing workflows, payment gateways, and collection channels.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion and advanced proficiency in MS Excel and flowcharts.
  • Proven track record of leading teams in challenging environments with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for both internal and external interactions.
