Manager Admin & ER

Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

  • Manage hiring to separation, attendance, overtime, wages, records, on-job-training, and engagement for the mill workers and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, industrial relations procedures, and the company’s code of conduct.
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in line with labor laws.
  • Build positive relations with employees, unions, and government agencies.
  • Foster a safe, fair, and inclusive workplace environment at the mills and its housing colony.

Admin, Security & HSE:

  • Oversee housekeeping, sanitation, civil work, other services, repair, and maintenance for the mills and housing facilities.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality, cost control, and compliance.
  • Ensure implementation and awareness of HSE standards, safety drills, firefighting, and emergency response.
  • Conduct incident investigations and ensure timely reporting and risk mitigation.
  • Lead security operations to safeguard employees, assets, and property.
  • Manage the Security & HSE teams and ensure they are equipped and well-trained.

Experience: 6+ years of experience in Admin & IR in a manufacturing setup, of which at least 2 years managing the function.

Education: Minimum Bachelor's with a Diploma in Industrial Relations & Labor Law. Additionally, LLB will be an advantage.

Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations.
  • Experience in facilities management, housekeeping, and civil/maintenance work.
  • Hands-on exposure to HSE and Security management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Note: The Selected individual will have to live on-premises in Mills housing.
