Manager – Brand, Marketing Communication & Growth
Location: Qatar (Preferred)
Reporting To: Founder / Business Head
Experience: Minimum 10 years
Role Mandate
This role exists to scale Swan Global and its subsidiaries into a high-trust, high-visibility, growth-driven brand while ensuring strong brand protection, disciplined communication, and measurable business outcomes.
The role owns brand strategy, marketing communication, growth execution, demand enablement, and the Pre-Sales function, with accountability for MQL, SQL quality, revenue sourced and influenced, and brand KPIs. This is a hands-on operator role, not an advisory or agency-only position.
Scope of Responsibility
Core Accountability
Revenue accountability is limited to demand generation, lead quality, qualification, enablement, and attribution, not sales negotiation or deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy, Brand Management & Communication
• Define and execute brand positioning, narrative, and messaging architecture.
• Ensure consistent communication across all platforms and across Swan Global and subsidiaries.
• Act as final authority for brand messaging prior to external release.
• Adapt brand and communication strategies for multi-market and cross-cultural contexts.
• Protect long-term brand equity while enabling growth.
2. Marketing, Growth & Demand Generation
• Design and execute a growth-focused marketing strategy.
• Drive performance marketing, organic growth, and inbound demand.
• Optimize the funnel from awareness to MQL to SQL.
• Balance short-term lead generation with long-term brand protection.
3. Pre-Sales Research, Outreach, Qualification & Enablement
• Lead research on new projects, tenders, awards, and expansions using industry portals, news, and official sources.
• Conduct structured account and project research including company profiling and stakeholder mapping.
• Research and validate contact details of decision-makers.
• Initiate outreach and professionally represent Swan Global and its subsidiaries.
• Qualify prospects based on relevance, readiness, authority, and commercial seriousness.
• Convert only well-researched opportunities into SQLs for Sales/BD handover.
• Create business proposals strictly as per management-approved frameworks.
• Own client credential updates, document control, and version management.
Note: Pre-Sales does not conduct product demos. Commercial negotiation and deal closure remain with Sales/BD.
4. Employer Branding & Internal Communication
• Own employer branding strategy and internal brand communication.
• Collaborate closely with HR and L&D on EVP, culture communication, and talent branding.
• Define and track employer branding KPIs jointly with HR.
5. Marketing Technology, Tools & AI
• Hands-on expertise in SEMrush, Google Analytics (GA4), WhatsApp API, LinkedIn.
• Strong working knowledge of social platforms and performance marketing tools.
• Apply AI, LLMs, and automation to improve marketing efficiency and insights.
6. ERP & Technology Coordination
• Act as the central business and brand focal point between internal teams and ERP/tech vendors.
• Translate business and reporting needs into ERP requirements.
• This role acts as a business and brand requirements owner, not a technical product owner or development sign-off authority.
7. Reputation, Compliance & Crisis Communication
• Lead brand reputation management and crisis communication.
• Ensure all external communication aligns with legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate closely with leadership during reputational risks.
8. Reporting, Data & Governance
• Own monthly brand and growth dashboards.
• Present quarterly board-level reports covering performance, risks, and forward plans.
• Reporting and attribution depend on CRM, ATS, ERP data accuracy and cross-functional collaboration.
9. Budget, Authority & Prioritization
• Own marketing budget planning, allocation, and optimization.
• Deviations beyond approved thresholds require Finance approval.
• Final authority on vendors as per company guidelines.
• Brand and growth priorities defined quarterly with leadership.
10. Team Structure
• Operates as an individual contributor with vendor support.
• Team build-out is business-led and not guaranteed within a fixed timeline.
Candidate Profile
Education (Mandatory)
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing / marketing communications (MarCom).
• Degree must be from a Tier-1 or reputed institution.
Experience & Skills
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in brand, marketing communication, and growth roles.
• Preferred experience in Staffing, HR Tech, B2B, Marketplaces, Aggregators, or FMCG brands.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong command of English (Arabic is a plus).
• Deep hands-on expertise in marketing tools and platforms.
• Knowledge of graphic design fundamentals is a plus.
• Candidates currently based in Qatar are strongly preferred.
